A yoga class followed by brunch? Now that’s a New Year’s Resolution we can get on board with!

  1. Bombay Bustle, Mayfair
Every Saturday morning from 12 January until 23 February, Indian restaurant Bombay Bustle is hosting a series of Yoga Brunches with a yoga class at The Ady Centre – the luxury lifestyle and wellness hub in Soho – followed by a well-earned three-course brunch at Bombay Bustle from Executive Chef Surender Mohan. Step into an hour-long transformative yoga session at The Ady Centre, guided by DeRose method gurus and focusing on both physical and respiratory techniques to enhance wellbeing and fitness. Post workout, it’s a short walk to Bombay Bustle on Maddox Street, where the Yoga Brunch will kick off with a warm lentil salad, followed by a choice of dishes including Tandoor Spiced Haloumi, Tawa Macchli seabass, or Grilled Tofu with sautéed vegetables and a beetroot stew. Tickets are £28.

2. Tate Modern, Bankside
Tate Modern is collaborating with FRAME to host a morning Yin Yoga class followed by a healthy brunch and the opportunity to visit The C C Land Exhibition: Pierre Bonnard. The class will take place in Tate Modern’s East Room, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and views of St Pauls and the Thames. Yin Yoga has transformative effects on the body and mind. It prepares the mind for longer and better-quality meditation practices and draws the mind inward into a relaxed state, as well as releasing any physical tension. After the session, yogis can head down to the Kitchen and Bar Restaurant for a healthy brunch spread including organic bircher muesli and rejuvenating drinks like the blueberry maple protein shake, as well as the choice of a main dish like crepes with crème fraiche and maple syrup or Croque Monsieur. Classes take place on 26 January and 2 and 9 February, with sessions at 8.45am and 10am. Tickets are £25, or £46 including the exhibition.
